Regional Sales Manager

Rock Ridge Outdoors Regional Sales Manager will be an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional sales results while fostering a collaborative team environment. You will work closely with fellow team members, customers, and independent sales representatives to ensure a seamless sales process and drive the development of and promotion of our legacy brands, fueling continuous company growth. Demonstrate outstanding customer service and professionalism at in-store visits, tradeshows, and buyer meetings. As a self-motivated individual, you will proactively follow up with customers and team members, identifying opportunities for growth. Take the lead in generating leads and seize every chance to present additional products to both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities for Regional Sales Manager
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales plan
  • Solicit orders, manage the current key accounts, box stores, distribution, and develop new points of distribution within the defined territory in order to profitably manage the growth of our brands consistent with our values and goals
  • Develop strong relationships with all internal and external customers through effective communication, a proactive mindset, flexibility in problem-solving, a sense of personal ownership, and a passion for excellence in all aspects of our business.
  • Manage independent sales reps in defined territory
  • Proactively solve problems and present solutions
  • Responsible for product and sales knowledge
  • Provide training for sales reps and customers
  • Forecast product sales
  • Produce and present sales presentations
  • Develop and execute sales promotions
  • Use excellent verbal communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers, independent sales representatives, and team members
  • Ability to travel to call on accounts in the territory as well as out-of-territory shows and events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications for Regional Sales Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferred
  • 5 years experience in marketing or sales in a comparable position in the outdoor industry
  • Strong knowledge of the outdoor, hunting and shooting sports industry. Archery industry experience is a plus.

  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
  • Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to team and customers
Position Type / Expected Working Hours
  • This is a full-time position, Days and hours of work week are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Willing to work outside standard working hours as needed.
  • Travel will be required.
  • This position can be a remote office position.
